7/30/2024 – WMMB Radio Host Bill Mick

Lori Scott mentored Tim into having the ability to run this office. That speaks volumes. Tim has been in elections some 15 years as an IT director before assuming the SOE role. His opponent has never bothered to learn about the operation of elections and has never been an administrator.

John Tobia (Johnus Disgustus) is the epitome of a career politician who has 16 years in legislative positions and none in administration. He has been under criminal investigation for multiple offenses including allegations of manipulating, hiding or destroying public records. If even close to true, his election would raise a cloud of suspicion over an office where meticulous record keeping is the law. Tobia has never taken a leadership role and he most certainly does not deserve this one.

Tim, on the other hand, is a dedicated elections professional who deserves to be elected to this job he was appointed to hold when Lori retired.

7/15/2024 – State Senator Tom Wright

As Senator for District 8, I sent a Letter to Governor DeSantis to support the appointment of Tim, when the position became available. And now I am endorsing Tim Bobanic for Supervisor of Elections in the upcoming 2024 Primary Election.

Under Tim’s leadership, Brevard has become the gold standard for election integrity, implementing a system that audits 100% of all races, precincts, and ballots in every election. Tim embodies the ethical standards and transparency we desperately need in our public officials. I wholeheartedly endorse Tim Bobanic for Supervisor of Elections.

I urge Brevard voters to support Tim in the upcoming Primary Election.

6/17/2024 – Lori Scott, Former Brevard County Supervisor of Elections

When I retired as Brevard’s Supervisor of Elections in the fall of 2022, there was only one name I submitted to Governor DeSantis for consideration and that was Tim Bobanic’s.

I hired (ok, stole ) Tim from the Hillsborough County Supervisor’s Office in 2013 where his reputation as a leader in election technology was already recognized and on the rise statewide. Tim worked for me for 10 years and through 18 elections. His dedication to protect the foundation of our country, our nation’s electoral process, is unquestionable.

Sadly, there are candidates that only appear to serve the public when it benefits them. Elect/Retain one that actually does!

The purpose of this letter is to publicly express my endorsement of and support for Mr. Tim Bobanic in his campaign for Brevard Supervisor of Elections. I was pleased when Gov. DeSantis appointed Tim Bobanic to serve as acting Supervisor of elections believing that to have been the best possible choice. Having watched Bobanic’s performance in that role I firmly believe he is the best qualified candidate for that office. Brevard needs someone with unimpeachable qualifications, proven capability and the highest ethical standards – Tim Bobanic is that person. We do not need another professional politician seeking to find the next elected office nor do we need another office holder who has numerous charges of unethical or illegal conduct hanging over their head – Brevard deserves better.
